Aeronaut Books has announced on Facebook that it has published "British Aircraft of WWI Volume 1: Experimental Fighters Part 1" by well-known aviation historian Colin Owers.
This book is the first in a series by Colin to document the more obscure British aircraft of The Great War. It documents nine interesting British experimental fighters of The Great War in more detail than ever before, complete with photos, scale drawings, and color profiles. The aircraft covered include:
-Austin Osprey
-Boulton & Paul Bobolink
-Nieuport B.N.1
-Sopwith Snipe
-Vickers F.B.16 series
-Bristol M.R.1
-Westland N.1B
-Westland Weasel.

The book has 154 pages, 133 photographs, 33 color profiles, 12 color top views, and scale drawings of each of these nine aircraft types by the author. It is of interest to historians and enthusiasts, and is perfect for modelers who want to build these rare types.

The series is not planned to include popular types that have already been well-covered in the literature.
