Vladimir Demchenko kindly informed us about the upcoming kit of BRAVO-6.
As always sculpted by Vladi in 1/35 scale and cast in resin; B6-35100 Kriegsberichter (1) depicts a World War II German War Reporter.

Figure is posed kneeling to record with his Arriflex 35 mm reflex motion picture camera.

At least they didn't say Kampfkameramann

Correct and appropriate use of the word; (Photo found on line, used here for discussion only.) War writer or war reporter, actual translation "war communicator".

Another great addition to make my dios something a little different.

A good extension of the very limited correspondents figures available. Michael, is your "handle" in honor of the 165th Signal Photo Company, and if so, why did you choose it?

Thank you, Michael, I know the set. But in resin certain cameras can be better cast imo, and more cameramen (of different nationalities) can't hurt ..

Ah, that's excellent work, Vladimir. You do think of everything! So that means more Kriegsberichter in the pipeline; great news.

The above movie cameras are all US Eyemo's (or Russian copies of Eyemo's) and these were all wind up, spring drive cameras. There was an electric motor drive accessory offered but as a rule that was used only on/by rear echelon PRESS type assignments that mostly were using 300' bulk film magazines and tripods.

I still have hopes to get Mike Goldberg to print some WWII movie and still cameras digitally in order to handle some of the shape complexities of these cameras.

Now we need a good set of various nations (British and German) war artists who accompanied the troops into battle, or so it seemed for the Germans. Pencil and art tablet. I am barely a fan of the US efforts. Seems realism was not really of interest as was whatever was the current art pop scene. Of interest is that currently, the Mississippi Archives and History has just finished copying a state soldier's gift of his comic book diary that he kept as a POW. Not realistic but clearer than the soldiers who were painting the war for the Army.
