Once again, Osprey Publishing has announced a batch of interesting new titles. Covering everything from Crusader Castles to Soviet Armor, from WWII Infantry tactics to the Hussite Wars, this list of new titles will have something for everyone....
Every month, Osprey Publishing sends out its newsletter. Every month, this gives me enough material for yet another news item. This month's newsletter is no exception...

Beginning with the books more relevant to Figure/Armor Modellers, a number of useful titles are being published in June:

British Mark I Tank 1816 (New Vanguard 100)

U.S. Army Tank Crewman (E.T.O.) 1944-45(Warrior 78)

Napoleonic Naval Armaments 1792-1815(New Vanguard 90)

The Hussite Wars 1419-36 (Men-at-Arms 409)

Wermacht Combat Helmets 1933-45(Elite 106)

Buffalo Soldiers 1866-91 (Elite 107)

Napoleon's Balkan Troops(Men-at-Arms 410)

Vietnam ANZACs: Australian and New Zealand Troops in Vietnam 1962-72 (Elite 105)

For the Aviation Modeller, there are two new titles:

F-15C/E Eagle Units of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Combat Aircraft 47)

Fokker D VII Aces of WWI (Part 2) (Aircraft of the Aces 63)

In what could be titled 'general history', two new titles are being published:

WWII Infantry Tactics (1) Squad and Platoon (Elite 105)

Crusader Castles of The Teutonic Knights (2) (Fortress 19)

Last, but certainly not least, is Modelling The IS Heavy Tank (Osprey Modelling 9). As this is of some general interest, I will be posting this as a seperate news story, looking at its content in greater detail.

Osprey's Website, which currently has some very interesting material on the Normandy Landings, can be seen here:
