Comet Miniatures Marketing will be holding an open day on Saturday September 4th.

The London shop will be open from 9am to 7pm with over a thousand items on sale - many at just 1/3 their normal price. Special stalls will be set up with items priced a £1, £5, £10 and £20.

For anyone unfamiliar with Comet, their shop is really 2-in-one. One half specialises in Sci-Fi and Cult Collectibles and also has a fascinating display of original SFX models from TV shows.

The other half deals with military models. Along with new kits, Comet have a huge selection of hard to find models from "loft clearances" - on my last visit, the staff were busy cataloguing a collection of over 1500 second-hand kits which had just arrived.
