Three previously announced kits are now slated for next month's release.
Announced during its hobby fair last November 2016 at Shizuoka, Tamiya has now announced its general availability this March. A Zimmerit sheet for this kit will also be made available as a separate item.
For release as a limited edition kit is the Tamiya Israeli Tank M51 bundled with Aber photo-etched parts.
We got a slew of new items in from Tamiya. They include not only 3 new (likely as yet unreleased) kits, but also some new paints, dio pigments, and more.

From Tamiya’s New Year’s list we saw a couple of WW II German military subjects – the 6-rad and the Kettenkraftrad.
Breaking news! Tamiya will be releasing the new Acura NSX (or is it still a Honda NSX) in 1/24 scale later this year. The new NSX is the successor to the original although a lot has changed in the last 2 decades since the production of the original first started. This time around, the NSX will be AWD, a Hybrid and an automatic only. However, these differences do not hinder the car's overall performance and enjoyment at all.

Tamiya has always come in for stick regarding their 1/35th scale figures, but in recent times their figures have come on leaps and bounds in quality and detail. Tamiya has a good record with their car models and the latest one announced is a 1/24t scale Mazda Roadster (MX-5. This kit has a release date of November 2015, but no recommended price has been released as of this time.
Tamiya has released a 1/12th scale Tyrrell 003 this month. This model does use parts from previous releases, but new mouldings have been added to accurately replicate the Tyrrell 003 as seen at the Monaco GP of 1971.
This thoroughbred late 1980s monster was developed for competition racing, namely the Group A touring car races that were considered the pinnacle of their era.
As such, the Skyline GT-R (R32) was fitted with a powerhouse 2,568cc inline-six DOHC, 24-valve, twin turbocharged and intercooled 280hp engine. It was loaded with cutting edge technology such as Nissan's original ATTESA E-TS variable torque-split 4-wheel drive train, and a SUPER HICAS 4-wheel steering system.

A lot of WWII carrier modelers were very pleased with Tamiya's waterline CV-3 Saratoga release last year. Now for this year a limited edition kit of 'Sister Sara 'with PE detail is coming this July.

the De Havilland Mosquito series of aircraft, an ingenious and beautiful design which saw the versatile airplane made almost entirely of wood. Its outstanding speed and range ensured that the FB Mk.VI was used in a range of missions, including raids on important targets and infrastructure in the German homeland. It is often said that,until the advent of the Messerschmitt Me262, the German Luftwaffe did not have an adequate response to the "Mossie."
