introduction
Sculptor Yoshitaka Hirano is well known for his Yosci figures, particularly the limited edition Michael Wittman set released some time ago.

quick look
The figure is cast in cream-coloured resin and comes in a small ziploc bag with a cardboard header.

What you get in the small ziploc bag is a main casting consisting of the figure's torso, and two other pouring blocks, one with the two arms attached, the other holding two different heads and a pistol holster.

The sculpting of the main torso is superb, as you can see from the pictures, it's only fault are the two small air bubbles, one at the end of each foot. However, these should be easily filled. There's a rather large casting block attached to the figure's behind, with smaller webs of resin connecting it to the backs of the legs, all of which easily snaps off leaving a minimum of residue that can be cleaned up with a sharp blade. The figure is wearing a black Panzer tunic, but camouflaged over-trousers held up with braces, or suspenders as some people call them.

The two arms, once removed from their own casting block are positively located as each has a small rectangular locating pin to fit into a negative recess on the torso.

The figure is supplied with a choice of heads, one wearing a field cap, the other wearing the variety with the flaps that can be folded down, which in this case they are, covering the sides of the head. Although well sculpted and cast, for a top notch figure these are best replaced with an alternative from the likes of Hornet.

conclusion
A great looking figure from an acknowledged figure master sculptor, which could be used in a variety of settings. Recommended. This one will be used in a full build feature coming soon.
