Who going to Flying Legends and on what day? Sam and I will be there on the Sunday and was thinking if there's enough of us may have an impromptu "Bulldogs" meet for an hour or so.

Yes I will be there on Sunday, I'm going down with Harri (harricatures). A meet would be great, if we can acheive it. What we need is an exact time and place.

I'm there as well - Lampie is hoping to get there as well, don't know Duxford well enough to pick a meeting place, but i'm aiming to get there for 9 and have a poke around the museum.

I would like to suggest outside the American Air museum (the big glass window side) as for time it depends, I'm thinking around midday for maybe some lunch?

The location sounds good and midday sounds good unless that is in the middle of the flying display?
Harry and I intend to get there early (before the gates open as there will be huge queues), we will be wandering around the static park and stands then watching the flying displays. We then intend to check out the museum displays until we are kicked out

Midday at the American Museum is fine by me, but i don't want to miss flying - anyone got an idea of program?

Also do you know what time gates open?

When we went back in 2004 flying didn't start until around 1400hrs. I think this was so people could walk around the museum and even pay an extra quid on the day to walk down the flight line of the flying aircraft so you could get up close and personal (with in reason) here's some teasers from then

P.S. Just looked onthe IWM Duxford Site and it states

Quoted Text

The gates will open at 8am and the flying display will start at 1.45pm

Latest News re Duxford Glacier Girl is not going to make it.

Hope the weather is better than it is currently. Anyone know if Aeroventure Museum avoided the flooding?

Also a change of plan for me as well Im afraid.
Cancellations the last weekend because of the weather have meant things at my end have been rescheduled and some of them will clash.
However,,I'll now be having a ride up to the Washington show on Sunday.
A bit of a drive,,but seeing as Ive missed every model show this year so far it averages out I guess.

As promised heres a selection of photos that I took at the airshow.

After looking at the photos I think the sensor on my camera needs cleaning.
