Hi chaps, over on Aeroscale i'm taking part in the Mark Sharpe Memorial campaign. This is in Memory of Mother's Son in Law, who took his life two years ago. The campaign is to build a modern (still in service) plane.

A visit to the stash and a rush of blood to the head made me set myself a challenge. I got out some of my 144 stash and went for a 5 plane mega build. Started on Friday night in the build of 2 No EA-6B Prowlers, 2 No A10 Thunderbolt 2s and an EA-18 Growler. I'm also gonna try to do the CVN deck that comes with the Growler. All Dragon Kits, all being done straight out of the box. I already wish i'd never seen the A-10's, a very bad kit, flash everywhere and fit is not the best.

Progress is as follows

I think i've spent too much time talking to Lucky!!!

Way to go Andy, did warn you the A-10 Thunderbolt II is a kit.
By the way Andy the Growler kit is of the prototype not an in service aircraft.
Sorry if I'm spoiling it for you I'll shut up and go to bed thats my 2 minutes on the computer when I get home in the morning used up.

Ciao

Very unlikely. I'm concentrating on getting the Prowlers done first, but the Harrier needs to be finished by the end of the month.

Hmmm.... I can see a 1/144 US carrier coming up between us.

Now let me see
E-2C Hawkeye Check
F-14A & D Tomcat X 17 Check
EA-6B Prowlers Check
F/A-18A & C Hornet Check
FA-18E/F Super Hornet Check
KA-6D Intruder Check
MH-60S Knighthawk Check
Grumman Panther Check
AV-8B Check
F-4 Phantom Check

Now I'm not saying I'll have them for MK but Telford next year (2009) as most are still lining the shelves.

Vigalantie(sp?), Crusader, Corsair, SH-3H and Destroyer anyone.

Ciao
