Hi Guys,

Just got back from MK Model Show, after having spend an interesting morning looking around and meeting a few folks. It was good to put a person to a name and I enjoyed looking at the range of excellent kits.

Managed to come away with A Church Crocodile, some Stores from SB Scotia and replacement wheels for my Chevy LRDG trucks, so in a way I got off lightly. Lots of wonderful stuff to buy and kits I hadn't seen before.

Picked up a few ideas for the future and always good to see kits out on display.

Next tjme I'll save up a few shillings lol, lol.

Thanks to Derek, Andy, Mal, Henk and the rest for the tea, nice stand guys and good to meet you all.

Only lost an Oil thingi off my Cromwell ARV, don't know where that vanished too, but then I should really have things stuck down properly.

Cheers

Al

Well Sam and I and home safe and, well to be honest, cream crackered. Nice to see everyone and a few new faces (I can't even remember which one was Alan after the amount of people I met today) and here's a photo of the stand.

Can't Wait for the next show

Well I really enjoyed today. It made me forget my recent troubles. And it was good meeting Allen, Sam, Keith, Phil and Derek for the first time. And also seeing Nige, Andy B, Andy L, Lucky and Mal again.

Cheers guys.

HI gang.

Got home safely, after about an hours detour, due to the M25 being Shut. Not the best journey home, but a good day.

Al - nice to see your work in the flesh(plastic?) and to put a face to the name, hope you can join us again soon.

Daz - thanks for the company in the car.

Courtney - get well soon.

Hi all

Glad everybody made it home in one piece , the drive home seemed quicker than the one to the show for some reason. It was good to meet up with everybody again, and put new faces to internet names. I didn't even spend any money on kits for a change

Looking forward to the next one

cheers

lampie, don't bother looking for Klear at Ilson Tesco's if they've got any I'm having it today

Didn't know Courtny was ill hope she gets well soon.

Cheers

I got back home safe and sound, got the stand packed away had my tea and didn't move off the sofa till bed time.

A great turnout as usual guys and gals and it was great to meet another new name, Alan, I hope that you become a regular. It's always good to see the "old gang", but there never seems to be enough time to catch up with everyone, especially as I have my unsecret project to keep me occupied I was especially pleased that Daz made it and I hope that he too can get to many more. I am really looking forward to the Medway show. I must appologies to Luciano for getting him confused with Andy more than once, or was that getting Andy mixed up with Luciano?

Courtney get well soon.

You mean Andy and Luciano are two people? Are you shure? Have they been seen together in the same place?

It's all those small scale tanks, they do your brain in...

Firstly Courtney get well soon

Secondly that's alright Mal although Andy may complain now that he has to do the braile scale armour, 1/700 ships and 1/144 aircraft although he has already made a start on the aircraft side

Nice to have met you at last Alan.

Ciao

I've got a couple of 700 scale ships and braille armour in the stash. But don't hold your breath.

it only took me an hour to get home, however last night i spent checking out info on the vimy kit i bought and it looks like i'll be learning how to perform major surgery on a kit! as always it was great to catch up with the old faces (no offence!) and to say hi to some new ones, darren and allen.
and i'd also like to say sorry to milton keynes, it turns out after checking my road atlas it was my fault for getting lost as soon as i turned off the motorway into the city, not the town planners!
