I need some informations about this plane



What was color of cockpit and weal bay ?
I try by serials no. find producer but still I not sure .
Maybe someone have photo of this plane ?

Hi Dani.
Its a P-47D-28-RE. Actual serial number of this aircraft was 44-19689.
The serial number on the colour profile is incorrect and is actually part of a P-51D Mustang batch.
Heres a photo.

Cockpit and wheel wells would have been the usual P-47 colours.Dark dull green and yellow zinc cromate.

Don't listen to him Dani, he's just being modest. If you press him, Nige will tell you about the bird painted on the side of that aircraft. The guy who painted it was left handed and wore odd socks. He knows EVERYTHING !!
