Sean Hadfield [WINDYSEAN] looks at a pair of Roundhouse HO 30'' 3-Window Cabooses, concluding that this is an attractive, good-working car of a very popular prototype.

Thanks, Sean!

Sean,

Thanks for these reviews! I have probably a dozen of various Roundhouse old timer cabeese dating back to my first kit in the mid-1970s! Good to see them equipped with metal wheels and knuckle couplers. They didn't roll so well with the derlin wheels.

Especially the older toys with seams and flash on the plastic wheel/axles! Model Railroading has become more enjoyable every year, ha ha!

P.S.: Let me add that the car numbers reviewed above are discontinued, but SP #288 shows on www.roundhousetrains.com as still available. Likewise, AT&SF #1364 and 1324 are still available-- those numbers correspond to actual 3-window cabooses anyway, so you're better off!
