Hi all
Another proposal.

Regards,

Kind of a mixed metafore; a German gun with the US Firey Bomb.

No gripe, just saying.

Well, I will find something as I really want to build an artillery piece that is fully enclosed.

Hi Guido,

This scheme is real or only for museum????

Thanks.
Regards

Hi ChiefGunner and Guido, I saw two programmes on TV a few
years ago and they were about museum vehicles in Aberdeen USA (God bless the place), they stated that many of the outside exhibits had been covered with an anti-corosion paint. This is the ugly whitish colour, and then some where given camo colors over that to help them look good.
Museum vehicles look good but you must be very carefull with how they are painted, the Panzer Museum in Munster
seems to have got them all right, but the Bovvie Tank Museum has also some weird interpretations of Dunkel gelb and Rotbraun and German Grey. That 21cm field gun is definatly not in its real colors, I would stick with what Guido said Dunkel Gelb or Geramn Grey or a mix of both ie stripes.

Cheers

Hi folks!
Will there be a new thread or will we just continue this one?

Typically we keep the same thread to avoid lost conversation and not to create any confusion.

Makes everything real tidy!

Aye!

Well have been browsing through the stash and these are the immediate choices:

There are a few other choices, but I prefered these above the others and I have opted against any SPG/SPH to limit the choices.
So any preferred choice by the masses?

Cheers,
Guido

That is aspecial pearl in the stash:
It is a 1/35 Pitroad Imperial Japanese Army 280mm Howitzer of Russo-Japanese War vintage. These were used at the seige of Port Arthur. In WWI they were used as costal defense guns.

It's a neat kit indeed!

Guido, you have some great choices there.. it would be a hard pick.

I'd like to see them all build
One on those resin guns or that Naval gun would be great

Here's my choice, the Dragon's Hummel.
Since it is part of my 2013-S.P.A.M BuildLog Stash, I'll post the progress both here and Here

Today's progress:

Thanks for watching !

Man... that gun is nice Guido.

If you don't build it let me know so I can have first crack at it?

If you do build it, make a build thread of it.

So I got started on the Howitzer, loving the amount of detail on the bronco kit.

Christopher, I have been working on my 28cm K-5E Leopold. If I ration my entries may I join this Campagne. You mentioned an exception for railguns? This Dragon Kit is huge.
Just asking no griping whatever your decision.
Thanks

I am hoping to pony up with an Israeli M109 circa 1982 or so. Will keep you all posted, but happy building for now. Cheers.
