Hello All

Great Builds Everyone, I am super motivated now.I have yet to start my Entry but it will be my second only attempt at Armor It will be the 1/72 Churchill IV. and On a side noet I recently got a 1/35 MK IV in a trade and was researching my build and noticed I need a different stye commnaders hatch. the kit has the flat style where my build I want to portray has a raised style with vision blocks it looks like, would anyone of you Churchill /slash Armor gurus be able to help out a new guy if you have one in your spares box, or point me in a direction to buy one. I have done a search and have come up Empty I belive it is called a MK IV ARV Cuppola? Thanks in advance.

After the paint job the model was sealed with a coat of satin varnish this was left to dry fully for a couple of days and then the decals were applied I then started the weathering with a good wash of yellow orche oil paint the model is now ready for a coat of matt varnish to dull this all down

I still need to work on my color mix, way too green. But, this is a practice for the AVREs.

Great build, Pawel. Looks fantastic in that camo scheme.

I am joining this campaign with the very small Churchill bridgelayer from Matchbox. I will try and see if I can construct the rigging for the bridgelaying mechanism.

I will enter with the old venerable Churchill Bridgelayer for this campaign. I think it will be a nice nostalgic and pleasureable build.

Hi fellow campaigners, lots of nice builds going on here and being finished!

I had a 1/35 AFV club Mk.III stashed for this campaign, but as life progressed, time got short and my collection of shelf queens didn't get smaller, I decided to build 1/72 Dragon's Dieppe Mk. III I've won recently.

Could anyone shed some light on the painting scheme for Dieppe Churchills? I know they were waterproofed and the sealant used for this left dark lines around the turret and other waterproofed openings, but some photos show the top of the turret in a shade distinctively lighter than the rest of the tank. Is it known what was that, was it dusty or in tan "camo"? I've seen color profile interpreting it as tan painted part, but could not find any additional info.

Cheers,
Greg
