Just Finished the Revell Monogram Spitfire Mk-II, And will be starting a R/M 32 scale Fw-190/F-8 this sunday. And Like you Lady Modeler I keep my reference material with the kit that I am working on. As well as the books that I have. i.e. Library reference material. Which is kept close by. to refer back to.

Currently working on a 1:35 ESCI BMP-1, my first real armor kit, a 1:25 AMT/Ertl '67 Mustang GT Fastback, and a few odd things for Warhammer. I'm having a hard time finding BMP references on the net and in the library - time to break down and buy a Squadron Signal book, unless anyone has other ideas?

I have quite a few projects going now:

AER T-38 - Currently on back burner due to disgust

TOM Modellbau TK-3 - I finally finished affixing the tracks. I have a few more details to work on, but it won't be long now.

Tamiya Tiger I Ausf. E - This is the old Tamiya Tiger kit. I decided to quickly build this one so that I could practice my camo painting before painting the TK-3

Tamiya Panzer II Ausf. F/G (x2) - These are both built, painted, and marked. I begin weathering tonight. These are to help illustrate my painting techniques for an article that I am witing.

Tamiya StuG IV - Currently in research phase. I hope to start in a month.

Italeri SdKfz 234/2 Puma - Currently in research phase. I hope to start in a month.

Might be hard, Squadron doesn't do a BMP book, I think I have a Concord book and will try to dig up some info on it for you. What reference do you need in particular?

I have three MPM 1/72 aircraft - Grumman FF-1 & F3F-1, and a Vought SB2U-2 Vindicator waiting paint, and a Testors 1/32 HH-43 Huskie with Cobra upgrade, working installation of interior into fuselage. Paint work is slowing everything way down.

Sabot is right. There isn't a Squadron/Signal book on the BMP. I have the concord book which covers the BMP (first prototype with limited production), BMP-1, and BMP-2. There is also a book on the BMP-1 by Wings & Wheels Publications, Golden Collection, and Osprey Vanguard. These can all be had (including Concord book) at http://www.greatmodels.com/ by clicking on "Database" and searching for "BMP". If you are looking for any information in particular or just 1 or 2 photos let me know and I may be able to help you by scanning a pic or two.

BTW, you may also want to try http://www.kithobbyist.com/AFVInteriors/bmp/bmp1.html.

I am currently in the process of weathering DML's Hetzer Mid Production, as well as building Tamiya's Panzer III Ausf. L. :-)

Nice to see that I'm not the only one with more than 1 project in the works. Currently working on scratchbuilt 86" span A26 Invader( that one takes a lot of space on the table!) Tamiya M41 complete and ready for weathering, Tamiya M42 in the construction phase, Monogram Jeep CJ7 being converted to a CJ5 with off road mods(just about ready to start glueing), Ertl '57' Vette in the construction phase( prepared for a lemon-lime paint job)
