There's a Normandy Group Build over on Finescale and I'm going to do a ship-tank-plane: all allied. Thought I'd build the Tamiya 1/48 Razorback. I've read in a couple of resources that the 56th had a pretty liberal view toward odd camo schemes. In that period the NMF Bubbletops were coming but I've seen pics of lots of OD and NMF Razorbacks too. (I've seen films of OD razorbacks flying in 1945.) What I'd really like - if it exists - is a kind of hybrid of NMS/Camo. I do have sources showing 51Bs with a little bit of everything on them during Normandy. As my collection builds OD is getting a little too common. I also have NMF US and Japanese planes and there will be more. This seems to be a good opportunity to do something a little odd and throw stripes on it. Maybe even something with Brit Camo. Any pointers for pics online or available books (or photo builds) of a Razorback that will show a little flair?
