Hello All

Here at HF, I am a new armor builder and would like to try a figure to place with my tank but I cannot seem to find a reference or video of paintingfigures in 1/35th scale all I seem to find is 1/16 and Larger or the gaming miniatures. I did gather that itt looks to Vallejo is the choice of paints so I got the Vallejo flesh tones set is that a good start. Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers

. Yes, Vallejo is a great start. Roam around their website and you find lots of good info on using their paints.

I posted this on a different website:
For the most part, these deal with resin or metal kits, but the skill set is the same.

Andrea has a couple DVD's in stock: www.andreadepotusa.com/.../painting-multimedia-courses.html

Andrea has a number of books on painting figures as well.

This Youtube video by Marion Ball is excellent: www.youtube.com/watch

There are several books by/about Bill Horan and Shep Paine

Bill Horan:

Military Modelling Mastercalls- Windsor & Greene

The Complete Bill Horan Andrea Press

Shep Paine

How to Build Dioramas -FSM/Kalmbach

Building and Paining Scale Figures - Kalmbach

Shep Paine: The LIfe and Work of a Master Modeler and Military Historian-- Schiffler

Finally, the website of Alan and Marion Ball: www.mb-miniatures.com/.../home.php

6 months ago I started painting 1:35 figures, just like you are. I've found many sources on the internet but, I would highly recommend you this:

Once there was illegal full DVD on the Youtube but due to copy right it was removed recently.
