I'll keep this in mind if indeed I do buy the Revell kit. Pity I couldn't get this about 10 years and in 1/72, when I converted the Revell F-4F using little more than photos and scrap parts carved to shape.

Yes, it always seems that the resin upgrades/conversions appear after we've invested time and/or money in doing something on our own!

Oh yeah, always happens. It didn't mind doing it though, it was a fun project and I got some skills out of it. First project I worked with milliput for example. Course on a bigger scale I would probably reach for a resin set like this as I would not be able to do the detail that this has.

UPDATE: GT Resin now throws in the "belly band" reinforcing brace as part of this set. Makes an already good value unbeatable.
