Thank you, Mark and Clayton!

You must have some really steady hands there, Mike!

Clayton, Did you mean:
really sticky hands?

So, now that the fuel cans are out of the way, the lack of detail on the cab exterior was driving me crazy! 😝

Door handle and fuel can rack cut-out w/inside patch. ✅

The other thing on the door is a holder for the flapped down armor window pin. I'll take care of that later.

Cheers!🍺

Nice work Mike -- especially on the jerry cans!

Thanks guys! Glad you like the jerry cans!

Here's today's M21 update: I received a small package from Poland last week: RB Models (35B13) Browning M2 .50 cal. (2 pack). Unfortunately, I fed the rear sight to the Carpet Monster! ⏱ So when the 15-minute rule kicked-in, I quickly faked a replacement with a piece of scrap PE. In addition, the PE carry handle seemed too flat, so I slapped-on a little Tamiya White Putty — a trick I read somewhere.

Say hullo to my leetle ball of CA!!! 💥💥💥💥💥    💥  💥💥💥💥💥💥         💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥  💥💥💥💥💥  💥    💥

Looking forward to seeing more progress from other members. 😀

Cheers!🍺

@ Clayton – Thanks!

@ Mark – Lol and blushing! 😊 … Can’t says I do, but I'll take the credit! However, I do get hugs from the gals at 'Shooters Grill' since I tip well! 🤗 🤗 🤗

Aww yeah!

Nice work on the .50 Cal Mike.

Nice Hug Buddies too. Last time I got a hug from a lady I gave a big tip to, it was from a Nona in Italy!!!

Okay, before this goes too much farther off the rails (yes, I started it; shame on me), I'm calling my Kettenkrad done:

This little DML kit was quite a challenge so kind of glad to have it behind me.

Sorry, I’m partly to blame. Clayton, I can delete the image if you’d like — or not! 😄 Okay, back on track. 🛤

@ Mark – Congratulations on the Kettenkrad! The PaK in tow is a nice touch as well! Any chance of getting some eye-level views?

Cheers!🍺

Nice work Mike. The tribulations of Dragon Engineering overcome.

The little extra's paid off although the springs are hard to see (remember my previous post ). Nice dusty finish, not too overdone. Thanks for sharing and joining the build.

Thanks, guys!

By 'eye-level views' do you mean birds-eye level or 'in the cockpit'?

I was referring to the ground level view, as a human would see the vehicle upon approaching it — always like that angle whenever included with finished builds. Right now, you've got what I like to call the Jabo eye-view. Haha!

And as Peter said: "Nice dusty finish, not too overdone."

Thanks, Mike. Here it is on the shelf:

This shot actually seems to show the new springs and other front end work to good advantage.

Some more unnecessary super-detailing.

Driver-side window keeper pin detail (left). Window flapped-down and pinned to the door (right).

Thanks for having a look!🍺

Oops, I forgot to include this image.

Also, the right-hand window will remain closed to provide a little variety.

Not sure unnecesary is the right word there Mike. That extra detail really adds to the build. A lot more 3D now than the kit parts.

I think the windscreen needs cleaning though

Got a bit done this weekend. Too humid to paint, even with a moisture trap on the compressor. That is what you get in summer here in Queensland.

Anyway an update:
Added some stowage to test fit. Where the crew sits in the turret is a tight fit and I doubt they had anything on the hull that they would catch arms or legs on, so I concentrated on the rear, and only what would be seen when the turret was in place.

The hull top with second visor fitted and the 'not included in instractions' tarp ring fitted.

And the retaining clips added to the stowage boxes

Wiring to the radio set. Basically the power feed from the transformer and the aerial cable. Not sure if I will add the headset and cable yet.

I know! Lol! … I was suffering from claustrophobia, even with that HUGE moonroof! 😅

I think I’m finally done fiddling around with the micro details. So, my next update might be brought to you courtesy of Earl Scheib's Paint Shop. I've been considering adding more figures for a diorama setting, but that’s further down the road. In the meantime, I'll be researching those, building this-n-that, and I’ll be watching here.

Back to y’all! ... Peter, That's nice PE work!🍺

Hi Guys

I am going to have to put the build on hold. Went to spray some paint and realised my airbrush is missing the needle chucking nut. Must have dropped it last time I cleaned the brush without realising it ... 12 months ago.... at a different house...

Anyway, I will have to order a spare and until that comes in, I'm on hold. Hopefully the part (for an Iwata) will come in before the campaign finishes

Hi Guys, WIP update, Santa dropped off a new airbrush for Christmas so I am going to try some, I guess it's called pre shading with black the white in the middle of the panels. Seen it on you-tube, will see how it turns out

Hi Ken,
Looking really good! If you don't mind my asking ... What primer, colors, type, and brands are you using?

Cheers!🍺
