I'm hoping this is in the correct forum, just a quick Italeri LVT question. Do the AFV Club LVT tracks fit the Italeri LVT series kits? No modelkasten that I could find, and Fruils would be more expensive, hence the question.
Thanks,
Mike

The AFV Club LVT track set does not fit the Italeri kit well. I had to trim the teeth from the sprockets to allow the assembled tracks to fit flush on the final and idler. That was many hours after the tweezer and magnifying glasses construction.
I have only trial fitted the 3D printed tracks but after which I purged my stash of all the kit supplied and AFV Club LVT track sets. They are a little pricey but well worth cost given their detailed appearance and ease of assembly/installation.

Thanks for that link Daniel. For the quoted price, do you get enough to do one LVT? Good looking tracks for sure though.

No prob, each set is enough to complete one LVT. I was impressed enough to squirrel away the funds to fit out all of my LVT kits - one set every several months or so.

OK, thanks again for the clarification. I've been told/heard that one should do the tracks, then add the top of the hull; as I'm into an LVT-4, I guess I'll add the last bits, give it a spray of color, and let the paint cure while I arrange the tracks.
Thanks again for the help.
