Very Cool and hopefully less expensive than the kits already out there.

Wonder if they'll be in 1/35. SPARTAN II & ODST in 1/35 would be really cool.

So, I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday; and they had the UNSC Pelican & the UNSC Warthog kits. Both kits are "Build & Play", and both kits come with SPARTAN II figures (Master Chief is included in both kits). Because that are Build & Play, the kits are very toy-like; no scale is given. I'm sure that a modeler with more skill that I could do something with then, but I'll have to (disappointedly) pass.

I too saw them at the hobby shop and passed. They're 1/32nd scale. I'm a fan of the HALO Warthog and Spartans, but somehow these kits didn't impress me that much.

A modeler here, Dwartist (David Woods) built the Revell HALO Pelican and has it for sale. You can see how it looks painted and finished. David is one of the top wargaming painters who gets hired for commission.

The Revell site lists the Pelican as 1:100, and the Warthog as 1:32.
