It has been a long time since I did any ambitious scratch building projects. But I have had a couple of ideas bubbling in the back of my head (I hope its only ideas bubbling away) and maybe this campaign will keep me on track for completing one of them.

I'm in if this gets off the ground.

Anthony, Rules and Regulations start with-Any subject, any material, any scale-so yes, figures count.
Peter, not only ideas, but also Shelf Queens are welcomed. We tried to leave the door wide open when setting up the rules.

Once the Campaign is approved, we'll be glad to have you, gentlemen, on board!

I have some parts to make and some to modify, on Zvezda's Panther D. The etch set for it has been started, but the plastic has not been touched. This build is already my New Year's resolution and I just received the styrene to start the scratch build. So, I'm in.

I'd be in with...something. I've been doing alot of kitbashes and what-ifs lately so something like that.

Question...can I take an existing kit and re-purpose the hull for a completely different vehicle? I've got a box of old kits I've broken down just for builds like this.

Alex,
Sure you can!
You only need to be sure your scratch building will go beyond simple detailing.

Please note-official thread for the Scratch Builder Campaign is here:

all,
haven't been on-site for quite some time now (couple of years) and just noticed this campaign which has sparked an interest for me.
So have ticked the box .
Have a semi-started project to fall back on, just have to drag it out of hibernation .
More to be revealed once I grab a few snaps.
Best of building for those already committed here.
