Some pictures from my Blitz Type A:

Truck is still in subassemblies-I'm halfway through weathering (meaning some parts are fully weathered, while others still have base colour drying).
Yet I still need to model the deer horns

Angel, that wooden planks look really good. I still wonder how are you going to make those horns...

Thanks Bogi and Mike!

Still not aware how exactly I'll do these deer horns, but I'll find a way-I'm sure,

Angel, at least it will be creative job.
I am stuck with hard job of making wooden crates out of cargo box sides from spare box.

Since I had to start another Blitz to make my 6700a conversion, I have two of them to finish now.

6700

Type S

And, as you can see, a lot of crates.
Trucks are on stand by for now but they are almost done.

Good luck.

Wire armature and putty like some people make trees.

Thanks Peter- it is one of the options I have in mind!
But I also think along adding solder to wire/copper sheet and using only styrene and putty.
Will see when I start doing trials,

Thanks again Mike!

Beautiful deer horns indeed and quite affordable!

The only problems-I am not aware how the 1/48th horns will look on the 1/35th Blitz and whether their base will fit into the tiny mounting space above Opel Blitz trademark on the radiator grille...

So I took some measurements, 2 gauges of copper wire(0,5 mm and 0,3 mm thick), made some wraps and fired the soldering gun.

After soldering I glued 2 tiny styrene crescent-cut bits between the upper horns on each side.

Sanded a bit and applied Mr.Metal Primer:

Pictures are not of best quaility( solder is shining in every direction), but I hope I can make better ones, once Mr.Surfacer 500 is applied!

It all took me approx. 30 minutes of work (sofar)

Well done, Angel. You have strong structure, now it's all priming, sanding and patience.

You do know, the only reason the antlers are there is in case they lose the keys

Well Peter,
They say "Necessity is the mother of invention", but I think in this particular case it was more the sort of "Trouble-mother of invention"

Excellent cargo for the Blitz, Bogi!
Definitely worth the hassle!

Herewith I declare my Blitz 4x4 truck finished:

Richard, Kalin, thank's.
Peter, first I have to finish stupid jerry cans.
Angel, congratulations. It's hard to find finished 1/35 Opel Blitz 6700A on net. Bulgarian one, probably impossible. And then, Bulgarian Blitz with antlers. Well, what is next? Alien invasion!?
Well done, nice unique model you have there...

Richard,Kalin,Bogi-thanks gentlemen!

For sure there will be no Alien invasion modelling, Bogi-I'm not a big fan of science fiction...

I think the next "antler" project- someday- will be a Bulgarian Stoewer R200:
