Hi Guys,
If you are a fan of Tom Clancy's books, I suspect you'll be as disappointed as I am with the Jack Ryan TV series.

So far the only similarity seems to be the name Jack Ryan.
They play very loose with his back story,Cathy Ryans' medical specialty is no longer an eye doctor. Admiral Greer is now some kind of kick in the door type. All the elements that made Tom Clancy's character and books great are missing.It's sort of a version of Homeland. A chance lost. That being said if want a half decent action series its pretty good. although the opening episode with a JayHawk landing at a party is pretty cool.

From what the teasers, it looked more like Kelly than Ryan.

What would happen if they actually based it, on the novels? Tom Clancy's publisher sold him out.
