I am looking for the cargo trailer that comes with the Tamiya willys jeep. If you have an extra and would sell or trade please P/M me. Thanks in advance. Bob D.

This is curious. I was not aware of any trailer that came with Tamiya's WWII Jeep-- I have at least three of the Tamiya offerings in my kit stash dating to 1996, none has a trailer. I know The Academy M151A1 "Mutt" has a trailer with it, but it's not a WWII version (I have that one as well). One of Bronco's WWII Jeep offerings does come with a 1/4 ton trailer and "airborne" crew (one figure uncannily resembles John Wayne from his role in the "Longest Day"). I'd be interested if there was a Tamiya issue of the WWII 1/4 ton trailer.

It was one of their early kits.

Aha!! I take it it's not the same quality as the later Jeep kit?

Not at all. Far inferior.

Do keep us informed if you decide you still need it instead of purchasing a Bronco kit - I may be able to help you, as I never throw anything away.

I do the boxes within boxes thing. Sometimes boxes within boxes within boxes, so the bottom could be anywhere. But with a modicum of luck it's in the sidecar behind that Sportster motor. Even then it'll take a little time to uncover. If I find it it's yours free.

aside from all the great builds that go on here the willingness to unselfishly help out a fellow modeler makes Armorama the best modeling site ever !

Italeri also did one of these trailers. Not sure which kit it came in,but it's somewhat better than the old Tamiya offering. I have one and I've been working on detailing it up for a while(you know how that goes!). Might be worth looking around for one of those too.

Thanks every one. I have found what I'm looking for. Lucky for me I proably tarp it.
