That looks great, Angel!!

I need to hurry up and get my MAN 5 ton finished in the Logistics World campaign so I can work on this one. Probably the M9 ACE or the M1 ABV.

Progress update Pf.11 Pontonwagen

Load of Pf.11 ready:

From right to left: 4 Longitudinal beams, 1 Fixing beam, 1 Base beam, 1 Transition ramp(8t), 2 Halfbeams, Pf.11 with 2 Spike plates in the load bed, 18 Cover planks, 1 Anchor and 1 Connecting piece. Still missing are 2 sets of Anchor cables, will add them after painting.

Pf.11 with load:

Top view:

Next I'll finish the horse harness elements(6 horses were needed to pull the fully loaded Pf.11) and will prime/paint the trailer and its load.

Then I'll start working on the pontoon(it is a half-pontoon actually),

Pontoon construction should start shortly.

Added more bits and pieces to my Pf.11, including the running boards:

Next I'll do some "wiring and plumbing" and will work on the load of the PF.11,

He is still bailing it out Kalin

Love the weathered wood planks Angel. They are a nice contrast colour to the boat.

Thanks Kalin, Peter!

Worked on the cargo in Henschel's load bed.Bronco's Rubber Raft is a small gem(am a big fan of this company):

I also made some progress with the Pontonwagen-built the rear and front suspension frames, added fenders and the pontoon anchor:

Henschel and Pontonwagen lined side by side:

The total length of the combo will be slightly over 50 cm.

Henschel 33D1 construction and painting finished:

Next I need to apply some oils.

In the meantime I'm working also on the load in the load bed:
-According to the Manual I have, at least 1 small and 1 large rubber rafts(Flosssacks 34) were carried by each truck, towing a Pontonwagen. So I'm expecting delivery of Bronco's Kleiner Flosssack 34 and will try to build an uninflated one.
-Then there will be some wooden planks(called "supplementary materials" in the Manual), made of wood
-A ladder and a unloading support(we call it "donkey" in Bulgarian).
-An air compressor(from Italeri's Field Tool Shop set) and a GG400 generator set(from Zvezda's Sd.Kfz 251/3 kit).
-Various ropes.

I also plan to start the Pontonwagen this weekend,

Thanks Peter,Richard!

Frame is ready, primed and painted(Maschinengrau and German Gray).
Gauge decals are on(fiddly work, they tend to fall apart...):

Quoted Text

Meanwhile I was able to paint the three crew members of my bridgelayer - I am very satisfied with my first ever british figures. The sculpting of These Ultracast figures were firstclass - therefore the painting was easier

and altogether as they will be placed later on the socket

Now on to the vehicle painting!

Cracking model Thomas and 'love the figures. I often use Ultracast figures and accessories; please note though that the fittings on the belts/holsters etc are brass, not white metal. An easy enough remedy I should think. Keep at it - looking good!

Great job on those figures, Thomas!

Yeah, the only tricks I know, Peter
Glad you give Legend another chance& try!Might see again your Legend Puma in Resin III, huh?

More of my usual truck-tricks(pun intended) follow-Henschel 33D1 frame with some scratchbuild parts:

Next week I intend to start the scratchbuild of the other vehicle, that I'll build in this Campaign-the Pontonwagen(Pf.11):

Already spent several hours sifting through a 1943 "B" Type Bridge Building Manual, I recently bought(my best book deal in years):

I'm considering to create a separate blog thread for this build, so I can share the information contained in the Manual to the modelling community- and help those fellow modellers, who might be inclined to build this beautiful pioneer trailer someday.

Both builds will progress simultaneously.

Great job mate!! Those figs look great. My only niggle is the cotton wool smoke. I always find it looks fake. That said, it does not take anything away from your awesome figure painting skills.

Wow, not sure how I missed these first couple of pages, but great to see such varied kits. That Churchill is looking fantastic considering the work you have had to do with it Thomas.

Richard, there is nothing wrong with assembling and using Dragon's tracks hey. I have built several of these and can see no reason to replace them, although the Drive sprockets really need the roller arms offset. Looking good.

Hi Angel, up to your usual tricks....

Here is my entry. Dragon M4A4 with Legend Crab mine clearing system
… yeah Angel, I'm giving Legend resin another go while the Puma is idling...

Was looking for a Tasca Sherman V to go with the conversion I had already picked up second hand, but I got the Dragon kit for a song, and it is the kit the conversion is designed for. I still need to acquire some Bronco tracks to go with it as the kit comes with DS ones.... errrgggghhh…
