Hey all,

Does anyone do a replacement pitot for the Jug in 1:48? I need two of them for my Tamiya Jugs.

Thanks!

Could you not make them from telescoping metal tube? For complex shapes my first stop is Master but I donít built 1/48 so have no knowledge of specific parts in that scale so donít know what is available.

Metal tubing will work to an extent. Those that Iíve attempted before have always looked a little off when I added the barb. Getting the correct taper on the tip and proper barb placement and blending is definitely a challenge. If thatís the only possibility, iíll do it. I was just hoping for an aftermarket option to save time.

I use Master products whenever I can. While they donít have a P-47 pitot, their P-40 set might do the trick.
