Well, the kit appears to also come with the drive sprocket for omsh tracks. I told myself to just use the T-72 track that came with the kit but now I find myself looking at Miniart track lol. Apparently there is a late and early type omsh track. I am assuming the late type is accurate for a T-62 during the Yom Kippur War,1973. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

So the kit contains T-72 type track along with T-72 & T-55/62 type sprockets ?

Yep. The directions say to use the t-72 type sprocket despite the box art and historical photos showing the omsh track and idler🤷‍♂️. No big deal.

Moving on with the turret. I'm not so fond of PE parts

Built up most of the plastic parts for this combi-kit. The PE parts are next.

Started working, not much done, mostly the main hull parts. Working on another T-62 (Tiran 6) for the IDF campaign.

Made major progress on the JS-3M, but didn't post any images for some time. This was my first attempt at chipping, and while I definitely overdid this effect, I am still quite happy with the result.

Primed:

And after painting & chipping:

my entry into the trumpeter campaign.

I was hoping to use this in the anti tank campaign and use the Trumpeter mine clearing Stryker here instead. But this roataion works also.

would have been 4 for 4 with Strykers campaign entries otherwise.

Finally got the shield on. I don't know why I dislike that step so much.

One filter on.
