SAS, or should I say sas, really glad to have you on board! I just stumbled on (I think) your DD tank pics. Excellent stuff there sas. I have been thinking (amoungst other things) of building either one of the Hobarts Funnies or a BoB (Band Of Brothers) D-Day diorama which would include (hopefully) a DD tank. My heartfelt thanks for those pics, if in fact that was you who posted them.

Tread.

Hello Everyone;
Thanks for the warm welcome, yes that was me posting the DD stuff, I was reading some of the messages and came across the one about wanting to tackle a DD Sherman,
so did an album to maybe help you out. This is something I plan to do to try to help.
As far as posting some SAS wwII models,I`m afraid we`re out of luck there, they`re all in a local military museum, but I can post an WWII SAS album if there is an interest. I also noticed a great interest in modern 6x6 trucks, hope you all don`t mind if I add a few pics there. I have an idea for all you modelers out there who have kids who love to colour, a colouring book album of all your favourite vehicles which you can print off, put together and have fun with your kids!! Can be easily added to by everyone as well.

Something tells me that Sturm has been drafted...or is it drifted? In any event me thinks the Canadian Army has drafted him, and sent him to a far away post...just not this post. LOL

Bitte sprechen Sie langsamer , Ken. I'm having to learn German all by myself. I've only been at it a couple of years, and I feel like I'm not making any progress.No one will help me. I found that in my dictionary. I want to be able to speak, read, and write in Deutsch.

As you can tell from this thread, you have us still scratching our heads. LOL :-)

My guess would be Taiwan. Why because they eat plastic for breakfast there. Ha-Ha. Well why not, after all.

Jack
PS That sure was a long thread!! Next time I re=up I'll pose a similar question! By the way Whermacht is spelled wrong so I would logically eliminate all germanic/Scandinavian countries, as well as probably the former east block and most of Europe!

Strum, hmmmm, that's an Irish name isn't it. Sounds Irish. My guess would be your from somewhere near East Overshoe Nebraska. Am I close? I like to build WW2 german armor also. Good stuff those krauts make. Welcome aboard and please, be sure to have fun. A fellow german treadhead - Chris. :-)

SturmFuhrer voisi tehdä miehen työn ja päästää meidät kaikki tästä piinasta. Ehkä oletkin kotoisin Suomesta, tästä hulvattomien seuraleikkien luvatusta maasta?

Here you go. If SturmFuhrer sees this and if (s)he is Finnish, (s)he will reply.
Anyone care to translate text above?

Anyone?

Die you shall!

BTW, Teräs Käsi is actually Finnish, translates as "Steel Hand"
