I wouldn't be it that room, Ken. I'm an odd ball, I'd feel out of place and wouldn't be happy. At least When I'm building , I'm in my own little world.

Ashtabula, Oh
LOL, Ron. After I saw this post, I said " Look honey, Jim's wife has introduced herself to the rest of us on the site"...her reply..."Oh really, do you think he (Jim) will make a forum for the wives and or girlfriends, so we can "chat" too?... ...really she did.
O.K......you guys are beginning to terrify me!

Kenc', you're right. She was. A woman's perogitive I guess (or a certain someones computer tinkering). I do love the '40's hairdo though! Always loved that era..........
Tread. :-)

I guess that's an advantage being married to the Creator. You can make him create a new avater for you. :-) Jim you need to create some more good looking ones for the rest of us ladies here. You won't have to make too many

Well...I am very impressed by the warm welcome! Thank you all...and don't worry, Jim doesn't give me enough computer time to be on here too much so you guys are safe
To answer some of your questions ( not necessarily in the order they were asked)
Yes, I am blonde but I wanted a USO looking avitar and this was the closest Jim could find...I'll make him keep looking
Kirsten is a very Scandanavian name but my family is from Ireland, Germany-France(Alsace-Lorraine) and Switzerland. My mom just really liked the name as do I
I have been encouraging Jim to get back into modeling lately. We got some "mad money" and he said he is going to spend it on modeling supplies....whatever makes him happy as long as he takes out the trash on Tuesday night!
I would love to join chat sometime. We have 4 computers in this house so it should be workable
As for a forum for wives and girlfriends, I think I would have more fun just occasionally chatting with you guys if that's OK.
If forgot anyone's questions, I am sorry. It's 8:30 and I just sat down for the first time a few minutes ago so my brain is rather fried!
Take care,

Penny,
I just told Jim he needed to find some new avitars for the ladies. Any specifications?

Well,
Anything close to your avater, or maybe even some modern GI Jane pics would work. The ones that I had to choose from just didn't fit me. They all have that house wife look. Yes, I do stay at home with the kids, but I also have alot of time to build stuff.

I have no pride, Jim, make me an avatar of my butt-ugly bald head--use that dumb picture of me with my Tiger.

Sorry I am late, WELCOME KIRSTEN! I want to thank you for being understanding and supportive enough to share your time with your husband with us. I know it takes a lot of time to keep this site in tip top shape. You should be vary proud of the great job he has done with the site. I am sure you would agree that at least he is making great use of the time you have to give up with him so he can keep things running.
