The members here seem to be some really great people.

Thanks for the kind words, and welcome to the site! So, will you two have to fight over who gets to be on the site at a certain time... Or did Jim buy you a new computer for your own surfing?

Master Yoda makes a good thought here. My wife and I each have a computer, connected by ethernet. It promotes domestic bliss

So, I HAVE to ask...

If Maki has a wife - what would HER Avatar look like?

Jim,
Why dont you go ahead and make yourself the Commander in Cheif and your wife The First Lady.
Welcome Kirsten to the woderful wacky world of Armorama. Dont be offended if we get crazy once in a while. As you may know, paint and glue fumes can effect the way the brain works. LOL !!!!!!

Chappy - Kirsten and I co-built one working model of a 1:1 scale baby? Does that count?

Jim - I am going out Friday to buy my supplies and figures (1/35), if I can find some good ones at my local hobby store.

Tread - Thanks, I think I will keep her after all.

Wife - Ok...ok....I will create you a custom avatar. But I draw the line at promoting you to instant general! hehe :::smooch:::

Welcome Kirsten! It's good to know Jim's got a good anchor to keep him grounded. Make him build a model once in a while too!

Well Kirsten,
Allow me to be the first to bid you a very warm welcome to the very best armour site on the web, all thanks to your husband Jim! Not only has he accomplished the task of creating a wonderful site where both amatuers and pro's can share this great hobby, but he has also,if I may be so bold, created an 'atmosphere' of comaraderie that is growing day by day.

Again, welcome. And I must say that I am quite envious of Jim, having a supportive wife and lifemate like yourself that not only endorses this madness called 'modeling', but apparently also participates!

She's a keeper Jim. :-)

Tread.

Hello all!
Since my husband spends so much time on this site( and I mean so much time!), I thought I'd come in and take a look around and introduce myself. My name is Kirsten and I'm Jim's wife. I have to say, if my husband is going to spend so much time online, I'm glad it's with a bunch of guys(and a few gals) on a military modeling site The members here seem to be some really great people. Well, take care!
