Well guys, Ive noticed a slow movement in this front, so Ill post something now....

Well, you know that accidents happen: sometimes youre the guilty to turn a nicely displayed kit (for you) into garbage, sometimes its your "better half", sometimes the help, sometimes the childrens, etc...well, in this case, I blew a SPZ Luchs and a Pibber boat. The most damaged was the Pibber, a long time to recover it, so no effort will be made. And the only thing damaged in importance in the Luchs was the turret, but that one will be useful in the future. So, my entry for this year Twilight 2000 comes to the rescue. :-)

Ive been messing around a while with this idea, and breaking off the kits was the perfect ocasion (and at almost no money expense ). This its like a modern version of the US M20 Armored Car of the WWII, but with a Twilight 2000 flavor. With a Luchs chassis, a Milan launcher from the spares box some kitbashing and thats it!.

After I finish the paint the proper backstory will be written, but for now an appetizer....

cheers and comments welcome
Jacques

THAT is a great entry. I love the dual .50 MG turret and nice use of the Gauze for the cammo net.

Speaking of T2K:2006, where ARE the rest of you guys? Neo? Trisaw? anyone?

Been working on my secret weapon. Sorry, no images yet, it's,you know, a secret...

Trisaw here !

Sorry, I never enrolled in this one from the beginning because I looked at my kit stash and didn't see any "secrets or monsters" in it. Perhaps the next T2K# I'll join.

I really like your kitbash, Klaus! Twin Fifties really do dish out punishment!

Oh crap! I was counting on getting a full year. I have so many projects due May 31 I guess I'm out of the Twilight this year. Currently working on Berlin45, Move It Again, Welcome to the Nam and Historical Dioramas.

BTW Dexter I love the big beefy wheels on your armored car.

Thanks to all

Alan, you can make a single vehicle, a civy one, that will be easier (I guess) so we can count with you for this year campaign......not need of a diorama for this one (I guess again)

cheers

This is supposed to be a Full year campaign, but it was limited to 6 months to keep it realistic and promote completion. (not my idea)

So, there will be a second half of T2K...just have to keep your eyes posted...

Now I just need some inspiration...
