Having recently been working on as many variations of German Camo schemes as possible, I discovered this a few days ago. It's written by one of my (personal) favorite painters, Calvin Tan and should be helpful to anyone contemplating (or starting with Splinter). It's done in the form of images with explanatory text:

Edit: OK, I see it now!

Damn it!!! I just finished painting my GD machine-gunner in splinter. I could've used this earlier. But, thanks anyway. Into the ref shelf it goes.

Nice link Jim,Calvin Tan definately rates high up on my favourites also.
