Hi all.
After a slow start,,( blame the Camel),,my entry for Fighters Under The Midnight Sun over on Aeroscale is coming together well now.
It the Revell Hurricane MkIIB in 1:72. Emeritus kindly sent me the Finnish decals for it as he had some spare.
I filled and repositioned the outer 2 machine guns on each wing but apart from that its straight from the box.

Should be done in a couple of days. Theres some really nicely engraved panel lines on this so Im going to have a go at getting a wash im finally happy with on this one.

flipping heck! you're not messing about are you! :-)
thats a nice build of something you don't see every day. my only little niggle on this is that the wing to fusalage join/line could maybe do with a little toning down imo.
dare i say it, but i've always slightly preferred the look of the hurricane against the spitfire (only just mind!) it looks like you'll need to hire a transit van for telford if you continue at this rate, nigel :-)

Cheers Phil!
I actually started this a couple of months ago but got waylaid by first one then two Camel builds.
I cant see me finishing anything else before Telford as Im back to work on Monday till late October and Im moving house straight after.Busy times and modelling will have to take a back seat for a while.
Its funny how that wing root has shown up so defined on the photo,as it doesnt look like that in the flesh,,honest
Pretty pleased with how the Hurri has turned out, and it certainly stands out in this unusual scheme.Ive got a Russian based Hurricane in my stash and it'll sit quite nicely with this.
