Here's my entry for this month. It is Verlinden's 200mm resin bust of the German fighter pilot Adolf Galland (there is actually two busts supplied and I gave the second to Tomcat31 to do.) The model was entirely brush painted I used artist's oils to create the flesh tones and the rest of the uniform, hair etc were painted using Humbrol enamels. Several washes were given to the uniforem and lots of dry brushing was done to create a suttle worn look. Artist's oils were used to give different shades to his hair and moustache. The base plinth was painted matt black and then once dry matt varnish was airbrushed over the kit. The final touch was to apply some gloss varnish to his eyes.

Here my entry for this month. It is Verlinden's 120mm SWAT Officer (now out of production) and painted entirely with Humbrol enamels the uniform colour was a custom mix of Lufthansa Blue mixed with white. The Uzi that came with the kit was swapped for an M-16 rifle from the Verlinden LLRP Kit, the strap was made from Tamiya masking tape and the buckkles were left overs from a rally car I did. The base was just a standard round base cover with wood glue and one half sprinkled with sand the other with static grass, Once dry the excess was removed and the sand paint with sky grey paint.

As always comments welcome

Good luck everyone

heres mine, its actually the last kit i finished, about a month ago now!
its airfix's boeing 737 built oob, but i used alclad aluminium instead of humbrol11 silver, and had a go at re- scribing the raised panel lines, but this did'nt really turn out like i wanted, well i actually scribed them so light it being 1/144 scale they all vanished when i painted it!

and heres the real thing, looks like airfix need to make the red decals a bit more actual red!
