1⁄35U-Boot 90 – Biber Mini Submarine

Introduction
This is my representation of the Biber submarine, based on the example in the Imperial War Museum London.
I didn’t copy the finish exactly as the original has the joint points sealed. The kit does provide 2 PE strips for this purpose but I choose to leave them off, as I believe it makes the finish look more interesting. It’s a fun build with one or two tricky areas (namely the PE) and I’ve scratch built some items which I hope add interest to the finish.

and a walkaround here of the IWM example. Walkaround
This was my first submarine and I enjoyed the experience. A good starter kit and it would make for an interesting cut-away model if you have the time and patience.
My thanks to everyone on Shipwrights who made the build possible
