The fuselage/wings
Once you paint the inside of the fuselage, the complex cockpit/engine assembly snaps right in. Leave the bottom portion off until you fit the wings. There is piping that needs to slot in. The wings have nicely detailed guns, ammo boxes, and fuel tanks. I used none of it. I cut the barrels off and inserted in final assembly. Once again if you wanted to open panels the detail is all there.

The fit of the wings and fuselage is second to none. Fantastic
Clear parts
The kit has three options for the canopy; a normal one-piece clear molding for a closed canopy, a three-piece normal canopy for an open option or grey plastic framing and clear inserts. I did what Im used to and masked and sprayed the clear parts. There is a sight glass and armored plate to be installed under the windscreen.
The prop
The prop detail is nice, however all buried beneath the spinner. So once again I didn't bother with it. I also painted it white with black blades as the last survivor has. Purely personal preference. I don't like the brown.

Beautiful build, great job! Apart from the white markings at the back end, it might be worth masking and painting the main markings to avoid the thick decal issue you encountered. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Joe, and so much detail on your build progress. Cheers, D

Really nice. Did you use the extra PE set or weighted tires?
