Operational Overview This campaign is to represent the events/actions of the German invasion of the Low Countries (Luxembourg/Holland/Belgium and France)in 1940. A major Blitzkrieg reached the coast within weeks thus finishing off the Occupation of Western mainland Europe. While the vehicles involved were not the best in use during WW2 the campaign tested effectively all armour used and the lessons learnt influenced not only the design of future armour but the tactics in utilising it. Effectively a how to and how not to fight armoured battles for the coming years.
