What's Included

One 5" x 2" photo etch fret with approximately 15 unique elements many of which are duplicated. The parts are Eduard's typical superb quality. This set does not directly impact the model, but rather are add-on elements that can be used to display the model in a more real world situation or diorama.

The set covers:

- two rear exhaust covers
- Auxiliary inlet covers
- Main intake covers
- Aircraft boarding ladder

Each item includes handle details and is built as a subassembly before being placed on your finished model.

Is This Set For My Project?

This set is useful if you want to display your model as it might appear on a ramp in a standby condition. These items are placed over the various inlets and exhausts to prevent foreign objects from getting in sensitive areas of the aircraft while it sits idle.

So whether or not this set works for your project really comes down to whether you want to display it with the extra covers. Some really like this, some like to leave the aircraft uncovered, so this one is very much up to the modeler's individual taste.
Highs: Super details right down to the handle details. Easy folding and assembly of the covers. Details match very well to the real world examples.
Lows: Not for every modeler. Whether or not you display your model with intake and exhaust covers will determine whether this set is for you!
Verdict: If you like intake and exhaust covers, then this set is absolutely for you. Easy assembly and good details make this set a winner!
