What you get

The bust is sculpted by Pete Morton, and is a variation on the already available paratrooper Bren Gunner Figure.

The kit comes as nine pieces of cream coloured resin as follows:

  • 1.The body. This is dressed in the series one Denison smock, with webbing, neckerchief and webbing.

  • 2. Right arm. This is a separate part, positioned in a resting pose held across the body, the hand being pre drilled for the insertion of a cigarette. A small length of plastic rod is included for the cigarette. The sculpting of the knitted cuff of the smock is especially good.

  • 3.Head. This is a new sculpt, featuring the a beret rather than the helmet of the full size figure. The facial expression is wonderfully caught, a tribute to both Peter's original and Ian's casting.

  • 4. Backpack

  • 5. Right-hand Ammo Pouch

  • 6. Left-hand Ammo Pouch - this has a separate flap, and two magazines of ammo to be placed inside.

The casting blocks all look to be in easy to remove positions and this should build into a very nice addition to anyone's collection.
