Besides the highly appreciated Vietnam US Infantry figures representing characters of the movie-Platoon, BRAVO-6 has some Russian and German figures from World War II.

B6-35102 represents a wounded German Tanker freezing in the cold winter of Russia.

The figure comes in standard BRAVO-6 light brown cardboard box with a photo of the painted figure. The website and e-mail address are noted on the back side of the box.

The figure is inserted in a transparent zip-lock bag to avoid any damage during transport.

The figure is sculpted by Russian sculptor and owner of BRAVO-6 Vladimir Demchenko and cast as one-piece in medium grey resin. Note that the photos on this review show the figures’ color different due to the artificial lighting.

Casting is very clean with crisp details, no need for any cleanwork. All you need is to cut the resin block under the feet.

The facial details of the figure are very nice sculpted. He carries a bandage rolled on his head showing he got wounded during the battle. Over the bandage, he wears a Feldmütze, enlisted men fold-up cap of German Infantry and Panzer Troops which looks like US overseas cap. The national emblem-eagle and swastika, cockade in national colors and reverse chevron piping showing the soldier’s branch - Waffenfarbe (rose pink in this figure representing Panzer Units) are well defined on the headgear. A scarf or foulard showing nice details is tied on his neck.

He shows a freezing /trying to warm pose with crossed arms across his chest. He wears a worn Telogreika, Russian Army quilted winter jacket which means body warmer. The padded texture, side pockets, back belt and rips ofthe jacket are well defined. Wearing this Russian jacket, the figure can be displayed as a POW or a German tanker with a battle booty.

He wears black wool Panzer field trousers having two front slashed pockets with forward folding flaps and leather boots. Folds on the trousers and boots and rip on the left knee are well represented.

Very nice sculpt and high quality cast. Different subject as a German tanker with Russian clothing which can be used in different scenes. No assembly and no need for a cleanwork.
