The latest release from Warriors is a super addition to their growing arsenal of Russian subjects – this time a Russian tank crew carrying a jerry can.
The resin figure comes with separate head, unattached arms and one hand firmly grasped around a jerry can. The mould quality is consistent with Warriors latest releases and are top-notch, void of pinholes, minimal cleanup, and detail is exquisite.
There are three highlights on this figure which I really like – the lean of the figure’s right shoulder to depict the weight of the jerry can, the quality of sculpting in the face and the superbly executed folds in the trousers. The crewman is carrying a German jerry can which suggests he is looting a German wreck. I also note that the tanker’s helmet detail is superbly done with a dangling chin trap - very nice addition. Bill Chilstrom is a true master of the detail.
For anyone looking to build a T34 with a maintenance crew or refueling crew or a salvaging tanker, this would be one figure to consider on a vignette or diorama.
I look forward to seeing future Russian releases from Warriors.
