Pegasus' Technobridge is marketed to wargamers, and is useful for any diorama that needs an iron bridge over an obstacle. Molded in 28 mm (1/76, or 4 mm scale/00 gauge), it is a large bridge for any 1/72 through 1/87 (HO) models. It is also a good size as a medium to small bridge for 1/64 (S scale) and larger, to 1/48 (O scale) or 1/50 scale vehicles. It could even host some 1/35 vehicles. War- and fantasy-gaming tend to standardize at 28 mm, though, like model railroading G scale, there are variations in just what scale 28 mm is.

The Technobridge

This model is packed in a light cardboard box that opens at the ends. Pegasus' artwork is dark and brooding.

The model consists of 12 parts molded in a dark metallic gray. It is modular and will make a bridge of 6, 9 or 12 inches in length. You can thus build a structure as long as you have time, money, and space for.

Two approach ramps and two center sections make up the deck. Each has a pair of side structures. The deck is open metal lattice work over beams, with heavy plating along the wheel paths.

The molding is good--some insignificant seam lines, ejector marks, and minor sinkholes. None of these detract from the model as they are easily accepted as part of a heavy duty bridge--especially one in a combat zone!

Conclusion

Whether gaming, model railroading, or for a diorama, the Technobridge can fit right in. For such a simple, heavy model, it is a bargain. Recommend.
