I, finaly, managed to speak to Martin at the Aeroventure about booking space. I spoke to several others and left messages but never got a call back. Anyway I might have left it a bit late as apparently they are all but full. Martin said that he will phone me and confirm space 10 days to a week before the show. My appologies for this slackness but keep your fingers crossed and we will get in. I believe Bolton have space so we will be represented what ever happens.

Regardless of space or not, Sam and I will be going as it's a good day out and not far for us to travel. Then again we could all just hijack the Bolton stand if the worse comes to the worse
P.S. Mal, have you been in touch with Ian Crawford with regards to a table and the Lincoln & Newark Model show at Southwell in October?

Yep I will be going anyway.
Yes Allen I spoke to Ian just this morning about the show. Unfortunately Southwell racecourse has suffered with the weather and aren't expecting to be up and running until next year if at all. Ian is looking for another venue, Newark show ground looks favourite, and he will let me know when he knows. I would assume that if it is at Newark that it wont be a problem

When I last spoke to Martin he told me that he would let me know, 7-10 days before the show. As He hasn't got back to me I am assuming that we haven't got space. I am still going regardless.

So it looks like we are hijacking the Bolton stand then

I hope you manage to get in touch with them Mal.
It'll be a real shame if we dont get space, especially as its our "home" show.
Id be tempted to turn up with the stand on the day

Oh dear seems to be administrative errors all round. Hopefully we'll have some better luck with Newark

Still It'll be nice to meet up with some familiar (and new) faces once again.

It certainly looks that way.
I'll be turning up mid-late morning.
Its going to be very interesting to see how "full" the show is.
See you all on Sunday

I have just this second spoken to Dee, Martins wife, at the Aeroventure. Martin did say that he would phone me, 7-10 days before the event, if we had space. I asked Dee if she would check with Martin if there had been any cancelations. She said that she would ask Martin when she saw him, so keep your fingers crossed.
I will be there regardless.

Nigel,
Thanks for that Andy (bigskip) has offered me a lift back down the A! but it's too far out of his way, not to worry I will be able to get to Southwell/ Newark IF the DVLA send my licence back with the right name on it this time.
Cheers
Craig

See you all in a couple of hours
