We have 2 possibly 3 tables for this show on the 14th October at the Newark Pavillion of the Newark Showground, which lies just off the A46 and A17, North-East of Newark.

We will be sharing the venue with an auto jumble, admission is free.

It is recommended that the show is approached from the A17, rather than the A46 as the roads are likely to be very busy. The show will be signposted and you must use the "red" gate. Traders will have access from 08.00 and displaying clubs from 08.30

The Newark Air Museum is situated about 200 metres from the venue.

Apparently we may need thermals, but those who have attended the Aeroventure show won't have a problem with this.

mal, does that mean get through the outer (red) gate till 8-30, or can i arrive earlier and hang around outside the show building? i was planning to get there about 7-7;30 ish to beat any traffic.

Well Sam and I would lik to say what a great day it was. Sam was kind enough to replace Andy by providing some baked goods and the First place in its class for my Skyraider was a surprise. It was a shame Sam was unfortunately deprived of her first place in class by the judges (long story which i'm sure she be telling for weeks ) but her second place (including the surprise look from all the men when she went to collect her certificate) and highly commended almost made up for it.

Sorry I couldn't make it this year (pattern making pressures...again!). Congratulations to Allen and Sam on their contest successes (Sam, you'll have tell me the story of how you were deprived of your class win next time I see you ). Thhe BB stand looks great. I shall try and do better next year
