For those not familiar with the design, this was a study for a composite long range supersonic attack aircraft designed to operate from the original USS United States super carrier; more details can be found in this book. The article, which originally appeared at the Aircraft Resource Center, has been reworked with additional photos and commentary; it now features 29 photos of the construction process and finished model, which is approximately 26 inches long. Amazing and inspirational!
