Simple rules:
1. Any scale
2. Any era
3. Finished project must show rider with his mount.
4. Any rider, any mount (you can show orc on a wolf, knight on a horse, wizard on a dragon, hunter on an elephant, or nomad on a camel - it’s your choice).
5. Rider does not have to be riding on a mount – you can show rider taking care of the mount or resting with it as long as it is obvious that project shows rider and a mount.
6. Timeline: June-March’13 (or other if you want)

What do you think?

Hopefully there will be some more interest.
If anyone needs any inspiration for this they should go and see 'Warhorse'!

Okay......I'm in. I have a couple of projects in mind. More than likely it will be a conversion of a US Cavalry figure that I have that is mounted on a horse. I want to convert the rider into a Sioux warrior with some captured US Cavalry equipment and weapons.

Randy, is it the second figure from MB set you've used for Wild West Campaign?

One more person and we're ready to go.

It is. I hated to see it just go on the shelf and not get used. So I think I can make the rider into a warrior fairly easily.

Hopefully we will get one more interested. Have you thought about posting this on Armorama? Maybe we can get someone with a Cossack rider or something that might be interested. Just a thought.

If you need one more live body, I have a kit on the shelf that might work.
I have the Boraxo 20-Mule Team promotional kit, about as old as I am, still waiting for paint. The driver rides the last mule while holding the brake for the first wagon. I have a million campaigns going this year, but I can spend a week or so on this if it means seeing some nice work from you guys.

Thanks, Jon! I still have to get around to seeing "War Horse" too. My wife cries at the commercial though, so she won't see it with me!

I'm starting off with the Nocturna Invader, the second one on my list. The kit is primed, the horse is assembled, with Nimix PE bits and foil reins. The base is in process, though not the one I had made. The countours made for some nice points of interest.
