Hi guys, after a bit of rest i finally got back to painting. So recently i managed to finish my 54mm figure from Andrea " Crusader Banner Holder " . Ichoosed to paint it a bit different from the box art. This is my version....i also tried to do some "pratice" on highliths and shadows on red using acrylics.












As usual pls comment...! Let me know your opinion and pls advise , advise and advise.....thank you so much all..!!

Nice shading, Alessandro. I also like the way you've painted battlemarks on the shield.

Just let me know when your flag goes "flat"... Mine bended under it's own weight after about a month...

Hi Andrzei , thank you , i like the shield too , actually its the only part i like of this figure. The most i watch it the most i see mistakes....about the flag , its the "retail" one....really yours bended after one month? Amazing..! By the way i think the overall quality of this figure is not excellent , i think its an old product ( meaby 2001 ) and the recent Andrea figures are much more detailed and nice.

In the last image, it looks like cape has caught some wind and is blowing out and not hanging naturally, but the flag is. This is what I think is weakest in the overall figure.
Really like the shield and the damage/cut marks on it. This turned out great. I dont mind that the figure is all red as well as the shield and flag, but some different hues of red would have defined the figure better and the different items (?).

Hi Frank i agree with you about everything.... as i sayed this has been a kind of experiment for me about the use of red. I choosed this figure because it was a cheap one and the surface of the cape gave me the opportunity to work with shades and highlighs.
