It is the Revell-ogram 1/8th 'Golden Knight of Nice.' I decided to do the armor and chain mail in a more realistic steel rather than that glimmering precious metal. I also changed the knight's locale from Southern France to Central Europe by modifying the helmet from a Franco-Italian Sallet to a Germanic Schallern by extending the neck protector flange rearward. Other than that slight modification, and adding a pommel to the bottom of the sword's handle to give a more balanced look, it was built out of the box.




The knights face was painted using the John Pradarelli 'Face Painting: Oils over Acrylic ' method. An excellent tutorial. (Thanks John!)
