Hello Everyone. I don't usually post here. The Wingy-thingy and Armored Vehicle venues are my usual hangouts. But, after entering this guy in the Large Scale Campaign...and after blowing that deadline, entering it in the Unfinished Business Campaign...I thought I'd share it with you fine folks of the figures crowd.

It is the Revell-ogram 1/8th 'Golden Knight of Nice.' I decided to do the armor and chain mail in a more realistic steel rather than that glimmering precious metal. I also changed the knight's locale from Southern France to Central Europe by modifying the helmet from a Franco-Italian Sallet to a Germanic Schallern by extending the neck protector flange rearward. Other than that slight modification, and adding a pommel to the bottom of the sword's handle to give a more balanced look, it was built out of the box.








The knights face was painted using the John Pradarelli 'Face Painting: Oils over Acrylic ' method. An excellent tutorial. (Thanks John!)
