With the exception of tweezer-launching the delicate little firing pan for the pistol, while trying to remove a small pour plug, this was a pleasure to build. Torso, head, and hat were separate pieces, the pistol was three, the belt, dagger, and pipe completed the parts list. Clean-up of the parts was a breeze. The pistol and dagger had small square protuberances that fit into square holes on the front of the torso. I added small brass pins to aid in handling them while painting and for a little additional strength when attaching them. the belt had a small slot that aligns with the 'V' shaped spring on the pistol lock. I glued the belt to the pistol and painted them as one assembly. The gold paint used is a craft paint from DecoArt and is available at Michael's. It is the only usable acrylic 'metallic' paint that I've found. You can even add black or brown to it to change the shading, note the butt of the pistol. Thanks for looking.
