I'm signed up!
The kit will be one of the Dragon / Cyber Hobby 234/x 8-rads with a few scratch and PE tweaks and probably the appropriate metal barrel, and likely some swapped-in different / mixed resin wheels. My current toss-up is for either the Dragon /1 kit or the CH 234/3 w/ schwebelafette. But all the variants are in my pile and the screaming - "BUILD ME! - is INTENSE

Signed up! I missed the last one due to time pressure, so still have my BTR-70 ready to go.

Hi John,
Great idea to start a 2nd edition of 8x8 campaign. I was not able to finish the first one, unfortunately, and my Puma is gone into "Unfinished Business 2015"...
But I'll finish this one, sure. Proudly enlisted today !
Cheers

I'm interested. I don't have any kits in the wings that fit the bill, but I'm thinking Soviet Army in Afghanistan might be a good build/research project. If Braille scale is cool, I'll enlist soonest.

Are you sure? The definition of 8x8 is a vehicle that can power all of its 8 wheels at once whilst rail guns are pulled by a separate locomotive and cannot move on their own.

Just picked up a Dragon 234/4 cheep at a local show and it will fit right in to this campaign. One of the Panzerwrecks books has a picture of a 234 hull with a Luchs turret mounted on it and I'll give that a try.

Cam;
Probably for that conversion, you would be better off using the 234/2 PUMA kit or a 234/1 kit - the upper hull would be correct for that conversion. The 234/4 kit with the PaK 40 will require building the upper hull form for the 234/1 or /2 - both of which had a mounted turret.
Just a suggestion!

I agree but I have what I have. The picture is from the front and doesn't show much detail but it should not be too hard to scratch a top for the hull, at least I will not have to worry about the turret ring fitting the Tasca luchs turret.

How about a French Panhard EBR 10? I'm not sure if it qualifies because of the middle four wheels.

Hi Alex! I think I can answer: I asked John abou EBR-11 and he said yes. So, we'll have an EBR-10 and an EBR-11 around here.
Cheers!

Alright I'll add a EBR-10 to my next order list. I figured it'd be okay. I had asked in the last one about doing it but it was out of stock when I went to order it. I think I did an LAV-R for the last one.
